| Since being rescued by VGSR, this small black-and-tan beauty is learning that the world is a wonderful place.
Princess was neglected while in her previous home - we believe that she was kept crated most of the time and never allowed free
access in the house. She didn’t get enough food or attention and is significantly underweight. Now with appropriate diet and
exercise, we hope she will gain about 10 15 pounds. Princess enjoys taking long walks with her foster parents and canine sister.
Her foster mom and dad are working on her social skills - she’s still very shy with strangers but is extremely curious about things
around her. When she gets to know you, Princess is very affectionate and loving- licking her foster Mom’s face and playing with
her foster dad. She is relishing the attention she is getting. Princess is very active clearly enjoying the freedom she now has.
She has some basic obedience skills but needs additional training. Because her behavior is very puppy-like and she has a tendency
to jump and be ‘mouthy,’ Princess will do best in an experienced home without small children. This very sweet girl is looking for a
caring family she can call her own. Princess is fostered in Northern Virginia. KHVA
