Adopted!

| At the age of 11 weeks, Precious has already been taken away from her mother, rejected by her
breeder, and almost euthanized through no fault of her own. Fortunately, VGSR was able to step in at the last moment.
Precious has an injury to the top of her right femur which will require surgery. Precious has the usual puppy energy,
but due to the pain, does not have coordination in her hind legs. Her playful turns cause her to simply fall over, because
one leg cannot support her weight. She limps when she walks, which puts additional pressure on the other side. The left
hip is beginning to look deformed because she tends to put most of the pressure on that leg. Eventually both legs
would be crippled. A little one with 3 legs is an undesirable option, but a little one with 2 crippled legs can only result
in having to end her life. Virginia German Shepherd Rescue has taken Precious into foster care. We are asking for
your donations to help fund her surgery, so that she can can be a normal puppy. Won’t you please help her find out what
it will be like to play with other puppies, chase balls and butterflies, and grow up to become someone’s loving companion?
