Adopted

Parker is a neutered, male GSD, about 10 months old. He has a very sweet and friendly disposition, but has lived his life outside so far and has no training to speak of. He is fine with other dogs, loves to play, and seems fine with kids, too. He is very submissive to people, but has no fear. He has no experience with cats. Parker has been crated at night since coming to his new foster home and he seems fine with that. He needs someone that will teach him some basic obedience (he already sits when you can get his attention) and work with him on house training. Parker is not a big barker, but he is vocal and "talks" when he's excited and trying to express himself. As he becomes accustomed to a routine, he settles into it and accepts it. Parker is still a big puppy and he will need plenty of regular outdoor exercise to work off his energy. He'd be great at any job you gave him, from being a jogging companion, agility champion, or just chasing off geese. Parker is about 80 pounds now and still has some growing to do. Parker is being fostered near Charlottesville, VA, but will be attending VGSR adoption events.
