EXPERIENCED GSD OWNERS ONLY. Max is a 1½-year-old neutered male who is extremely loving and eager-to-please. He has a strong protective streak, however, and needs an alpha figure who can gently keep him in line. With his current foster mom, he’s happy and safe at the dog park, on crowded streets, and at parties. But without a strong and observant alpha, Max could easily decide that it’s his responsibility to alert on people who he distrusts. Max loves children and plays well with other dogs, but needs a home without cats. He’s house-trained, has basic obedience, and is crated when left alone.
