Adoption Pending!

Max is an 8-year-old, pure-bred German Shepherd that has lived his entire life so far with the same family until recently. Max is very well behaved, knows many commands, walks well on a leash, and of course is house-trained. He is great with other dogs, cats, and children. He immediately took to my pack of 3 dogs and now runs/plays with them all day long. Max loves companionship and very rarely leaves my side where ever I might be on my property. (He keeps his distance of a few feet and never gets in my face like some of my other dogs.) He does bond with men over women and would do best in a home where the male is usually home as I believe he is still somewhat traumatized from losing his family from the past 8 years. Max is being fostered in the Shenandoah Valley. RDVA Adopted: 05/15/04.
