Adoption Pending!

| This is our special boy, Marty. We don't think he is a pure-bred German Shepherd, but he is
one of the nicest guys you'd ever want to meet. Marty is very friendly to all, enjoys the company of other dogs
and is even very nonchalant about the feline persuasion. He is around 1 1/2 years old, house-trained, rides great
in the car and loves to take trips to the dog park. He is a good boy loose in the house while you are at work so he
does not need to be crated. He was scheduled to be euthanized in an overcrowded shelter on Martin Luther King,
Jr.'s birthday, so that is how he acquired his name. Marty has been one of the easiest dogs that I have ever had
the pleasure of fostering. He does have one bad habit that we are working on - when he first greets you he will put
your hand or forearm in his mouth (typical puppy mouthing). So, for that reason, no young kids for this sweet
fellow. He is being fostered in Northern Virginia. SLVA
