Adopted!

Hi! My name is Jessica. I am a very sweet, loving and energetic pure-bred German Shepherd Dog. I don't know what I did wrong, but my family dumped me at the pound, and I was so sad I didn't eat for the 2 weeks. Finally, a really wonderful lady rescued me and took me to my new foster mom. When my new foster mom took me to this place called a vet's office, the vet told her that I am about 3 years old, and that my other family must not have taken good care of me because I was full of yucky parasites and to top it all off, I was pregnant. Unfortunately, because of the stress of being in the shelter and me not eating for so long, I lost my puppies. The good news is I'm getting healthier a lot quicker now, and am ready for my forever home. I weigh about 55 pounds and need to gain another 10 or so. I have now been spayed and am heartworm negative. I love the children in my foster home (ages 12, 10 and 5) and I try to play with 2 of the other dogs. I am fully crate-trained but we're not sure about me being house-trained. I would benefit from obedience training. I am a very smart girl and I will chase a ball as long as you will throw it, although you might have to chase me some to get it back. I am being fostered in Prince George County.
