Adopted!

Hi! My name is Jake. I came to Shepherd Rescue when my Mom died and there was no one to care for me. I am a medium size, red sable German Shepherd mixed with a little bit of something else perhaps one of the Belgian Shepherds. I am a gentle, happy, loving guy. Although I am 8 years old, I love to run and play with the younger dogs in my foster family. I love to play with the 9-month-old puppy. I am a bit overweight so my foster Mom has me on a diet. I walk nicely on a lead and know how to sit and down. I attended an obedience class as a substitute and did very well with all the exercises. I did well with the dogs there and said hi to some children that were watching. I also attended a doggy playday and had a good time with all the dogs there.
