Adoption Pending!

Heidi is about as sweet a GSD as you will ever meet. When she was rescued, she had a serious case of bladder stones as well as bladder and ear infections. Despite her discomfort, she never had a grumpy word for anyone. Thanks to VGSR, she's healed from the surgery to remove the stones and her infections are gone. We're working on a plan to make sure she never has another one of those sturvite stones again. Heidi is an A+++ companion dog. She loves people - men, women, children, and she gets along well with other dogs. She seems to have a low prey drive. Heidi is house-trained, only chews on her dog toys, and is crate-tolerant. She loves to snuggle and wants a forever home where she is part of the action. Other than an occassional raid on the trash can, Heidi has earned the privilege of having free roam of her foster home. She walks well on a leash, likes car rides, and knows a few commands. Her favorite trick is to "speak" and she loves to catch kibbles in mid-air. Heidi is looking for a forever home that will make a commitment to give her daily exercise to help her achieve and then maintain a healthy weight. EJVA VGSR Tag #2259 Adopted: 10/14/08.
