Adopted!

Hi, I'm Ginger. I'm a 5-ish-year-old, female German Shepherd. It's quite worrisome to me that my family no longer wanted me, especially around the holidays, I can't figure out what I might've done wrong, but my foster mommy and daddy tell me I'm a good girl. I love to play with tennis balls and enjoy going for walks. Of course, petting and scratching behind the ears is best. I seem to do OK with my fosters mommy's cats, but they're very used to unfamiliar dogs like me, so care would need to be taken if introduced into a home with kitties. Other dogs are fine, but I appear to have been an "only dog" in my past, and don't know how to play with other dogs. I don't like to be bullied by another dog, and I will stick up for myself if they get too bossy or "fresh". I appear to be house-trained and the doggie doc says I'm very healthy. On the top of my New Year's list is a new home and a fluffy bed, and bonies in my stocking. Got room? DBMD Adopted: 01/10/05.
