Ginger #2

Updated on Tuesday, 01/06/2004

Adoption Pending!

Ginger, a three-year-old, black-and-tan beauty, is new to the Rescue so we are still learning about her. Her owners gave her up when an elderly relative came to live with them. She is a quiet, well mannered girl who is anxious to love and be loved. She's a real people dog and a belly rub ranks high on her list of favorite things. She walks very well on a leash and enjoys long walks with her foster mom. Ginger knows basic commands, although some refresher training would be good. Her prior owners report that she does well with children and she enjoyed those who said hello to her at the recent Adoption Day. Ginger doesn't get along with small dogs. She weighs 79 lbs., but with some exercise could take off about 10 lbs. to be at her perfect weight. Ginger is spayed and up to date on her shots. This sweet girl deserves a loving home. She is being fostered in Northern Virginia.
