Adoption Pending!

George is such a handsome, well-mannered GSD about 3 years old. His heart is broken right now since his owner left him in a shelter so he could serve his country in Iraq. One of our wonderful volunteers found him on his second day so he is now safe and warm with us. George does seem very sad and does not feel like eating much, but when he does decide to leave his bed he wants to climb right in your lab. He sat and read the paper curled next to my husband this morning on the couch. George hasn’t wanted to play much with his foster brothers and sisters yet, but a game of ball changed him into a playful pup again. He brings the ball right back and drops it at your feet then looks at your face and the ball repeatedly until you throw it again. George also talks with delight (moans) as if in conversation when you rub his belly or ears. He has good house manners and needs someone that will love him forever. George is in Virginia Beach.
