Are you looking for a dog with character, that you can take anywhere and have fun with? Look no further. Introducing Floyd. Floyd was named after the band Pink Floyd, and because he has a lot to say about the state of his world. Floyd is a 3-4 year old male. He is a very friendly boy who will excel at obedience, as he needs some "direction" in his life. Unfortunately Floyd was not well cared for in his previous life, and has contracted heartworm disease. After undergoing treatment, he'll be as good as new, but in the mean time, it will take a dedicated, patient family to make sure that Floyd gets and stays healthy. Because of the treatment involved in ridding his body of heartworms, Floyd will need close supervision to monitor his activity level during his recovery. Are you the family he's been looking for? Floyd is interested in cats, but seems to merely want to inspect them, and means no harm, however most cats don't take too kindly to his nose probing their bodies, and if the cat runs, he'll more than likely chase.
