Adopted!

Ellie is yet another very sweet girl. She was picked up as a stray in Orange County, VA, and brought to me very skinny and with a skin condition on her back legs and rear end which is currently being treated with antibiotics and medicated shampoo. This poor dear looked in bad shape when I first got her but after a bath and a regular diet she's looking better each day. Last week she weighed 73 lbs. at the vet, but probably needs to put on another 8-10 lbs. She's a tall girl with a long, narrow face, dark beautiful eyes and a big smile as she comes trotting towards you! She loves the company of my other dogs, but would do just as well being an only dog. She has impeccable house manners, is quiet, has a good appetite and spends much of each day taking it easy in one of her favorite nap spots in the house. She gets along fine with other dogs, but has not been tested with cats. She did fine with all the kids who were in her face at the adoption day, too.
