This sweet and very laid-back male GSD was picked-up wandering with his companion, Sunny, by Frederick County, MD, Animal Control. He came with no name and no history and was give the name Chance by the shelter staff. Chance appears to be about 4 years old, and is a bit thin at 80 lbs., but otherwise in great health with a beautiful coat. He was initially scared of everyone he met (we are guessing he was treated badly by a previous owner) but after only a week of being fostered has really come out of his shell and is now only a touch shy. He is house-trained, crate-trained, good on a leash, fine alone at home by himself or with other dogs in the house. He was recently neutered and is up to date on all his shots. If you are looking for a sweet and mild-mannered male GSD, Chance may be the boy for you. He will be attending Northern Virginia adoption days in the coming weeks.
