Adopted!

Casie is a sweetheart girl with one floppy ear and a beautiful fur coat. She’s very well-behaved, responds well to commands and is really smart. About 11 years old, she came through a shelter from an elderly couple who loved her with food. She’s about 20 lbs. overweight and the vet says it has to come off. So she’s on a daily walking program which she is not enthusiastic about, but she trots along like a good sport and has already done the Appalachian Trail and the 3.5 miles trail at the Virginia State Arboretum. But hanging out and dog napping are her favorite pursuits, and she doesn’t know how to play ball or fetch the stick. She’s very good with children, cats and other dogs. Have not tried her yet with a crate as she doesn’t seem to like to be confined, but she has her own room to sleep in which she seems to like.
