Our Cammy is a super-sweet white GSD who was rescued on her last day at the shelter. After 8 years of loyal companionship to her family, they rewarded her by dumping her at the shelter after they had a baby. Her family said she was wonderful with the infant, but that they just didn’t have time for Camden anymore. She has been to the vet and was deemed to be in excellent health. She acts more like a dog of two, and in fact romps and plays with her much younger foster siblings, yet settles quickly and loves to lie at your feet. She has a marvelous spring in her step! One of her favorite pastimes is being squirted with the garden hose while she chomps at the spray, full blast. After being abandoned, she has developed some separation anxiety? Who could blame her? She was the only child for 8 years. Now she never lets her foster mom out of her sight, and she will need a home where someone is around most of the time. She gets along great with kids, cats and other dogs, although she has been known to chase a cat for sport now and then. She is house-trained and loves car rides and cuddles. All she really wants is your companionship. Do you have time for Cammy? She will reward you tenfold.
