Caesar is a neutered, male GSD, approximately 4 years old. He originally came into the Rescue about 2 years ago when he was dumped out of a car. He would not make eye contact with a human and did not know how to play with toys or bones. He has built up some confidence and basic obedience but still needs some more socialization. He is a sweet dog, enjoys being around people and LOVES attention, especially belly rubs! An active household would be ideal for him since he loves the outdoors and needs exercise. After being overweight, he has been getting fitter but still has a few pounds to lose; his ideal weight should be around 110. He loves going on walks and is pretty good off a leash but needs to be worked with not to tug when on the leash. He is good with the other German Shepherd in his household, but tends to get overexcited around other dogs; he does not do well with small dogs or cats. He loves to be the center of attention and would probably do better in a home with no more than one other dog. He is okay with children over the age of 12. He is house-trained, but not crate-trained.
