| Yep, this is me, Emmitt, on the right side of the picture posing with my brother Evan. I do believe I am the more handsome one but don't tell Evan because it does cause a 'bone of contention' between us, if you know what I mean! Although we love each other dearly, it's ok if we go to separate forever homes. I am a big lover boy that likes to come curl up next to you and give lots of wet sloppy kisses. I would do best in a home with older children or just adults since I can be a little grumpy if little ones were to pull on my ears, tail or steal my toys. I take commands from adults and older kids much better! My brother and I are both fully house- and crate-trained. We love to go to the doggy park and we get along well with other well-behaved dogs. We shy away from the dogs that have too much energy for our tastes. We have not met a cat yet so I'm not sure how I would react and I'm not sure how Evan would react either. We receive many postive comments on how laid-back we are for puppies! Evan is a little more adventurous than I am and he is far more tolerant of little kids. He likes to come over and give kisses to our foster mom but then he goes and lays down in his favorite spot by the bay window in the kitchen. Both Evan and I are German Shepherd mixes born on May 21. (Our dad was probably a lab/hound mix of some sort). Our mother was a gorgeous German Shepherd named Bunny and we were born in our foster mom's home so we have grown up with a lot of love and attention from day 1! We both have learned the command "sit" and we are working on "come" and "stay" along with learning how to not pull on the leash. Do you have room in your heart and home for one or both of us? | |
