Adopted!

Athenia wandered off from her home in Southern Maryland and was found several weeks later by the Animal Shelter. The parents decided that since the children presumed she was dead that they did not want to bring her back from the animal shelter and upset the children. Athenia is a wonderfully friendly girl. She loves bellyrubs, lying at your feet and just being with people. She even loves playing with her foster mom's three cats. She was friendly with the dogs at the vet, was fantastic throughout her vet exam and even took her biscuit nicely from the doctor. She is obedience trained and responds well to commands. She walks nicely on a leash and looks forward to her two mile walks everyday. Athenia may be 12 years young, but she still has a lot of spunk left. VGSR Tag #1642 Adopted: 04/02/07.
