Adopted!

Allie is proof that you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. She's playful, loyal, affectionate and listens well - a terrific all-around dog! She plays very well with dogs and people, but she also likes to just lie around just knowing that someone's nearby. She's got a clean bill of health now and can run and play with her buddies (canine or human), but most of the time Allie prefers to just sit around taking it easy - she's a very mellow German Shepherd. Allie knows sit and shake; is good on-leash, is very quiet and hops up into my truck as soon as I open the door for her. She's a wonderful companion on the road or at home. She would do fine in a house with another dog as a playmate or as the only dog in the house. Come see her at our Adoption Day - she'll be the one taking a nap! KBVA Adopted: 03/19/05.
